In New York, I studied Acting with Michael Moriarty and Henry Newman Madden. I studied screen writing and film making at NYU and worked on 20 short films.
I acted in Friends (Director Tom Jarmusch) and wrote most of the piece. On stage I performed as a policeman in Lemonade by Eve Ensler. I wrote the screenplay The Judas Tree Café and directed a film called "Thin Lines. " most recently in Belfast . I studied screenwriting in NYC at NYU and latterly at a writer's retreat in UK called ARVON where I received a grant to attend the course

Walks into a bar orders drink - drinks SWIFTLY WHEELS AROUND AND LEAVES THE BAR MICK LAUGHS:SOFTLY AT FIRST THEN - FACE CHANGING TO A SNEER HE TURNS AWAY - SHOUTING IN A LOUD UNRESTRAINED YET CLEAR VOICE:
'Dreams, dreams and dreams, give me a break, hallucinations (emphatic) drug induced visions, comatose parades and broken promises, the stuff of Nightmares my friend!"
Filmed in situ then edited a Suicide Awareness Benefit under the title Frankie Doyle Night (a recent suicide who had been friend to many of those in attendance) The goal was to create and sell DVD copies to be sold as part of the benefit . The night was a success and we shot and edited a version which captured the best parts of that evening.
